Insertion Module PLC Splitter
Fiber Optic PLC Splitter is an essential passive component in Fiber to the Home network.
The full name of PLC Splitter is Planar Lightwave Circuit Splitter. It adopts silica optical waveguide technology and is used for optical power allocation from the central office to customer premises in FTTx and FTTH networks.
PLC Splitter offers a cost-effective and space-saving networking solution in an optical transmission system.
Insertion Module PLC Splitter is packaged in a standard-size module, and installed in Optical Splitter Box or Fiber Distribution Hub. Insertion Module PLC Splitters are widely used for FTTH Passive Optical Network as passive optical splitters, including EPON (as EPON Splitter) and GPON (as GPON Splitter).
An Insertion Module PLC splitter is a compact optical device that integrates a splitter chip into a module without the need for additional housing. It is designed to split an incoming optical signal into multiple output signals with equal power levels. The splitter chip is based on a planar lightwave circuit, which allows for efficient signal splitting and distribution.
