SLIMBOX DROP TERMINAL(LW-ODB-16L)

Description:

The Slimbox Drop Terminal (LW-ODB-16L) aims at accommodating and protecting fusion splices between optical distribution cable and drop cables of a network.

It also provides the management and storage of the optical adapters and connectors.

Its sealing system is mechanical.

It supports two configurations: up to two splice trays with a capacity of up to 16 fusions each, and a tray with up to 16 positions for adapters and up to two splitters storage; OR 4 splice trays.

It accepts the incoming cable with a diameter up to 15 mm through its oval port – which has 2 holes for cables from 8 to 15 mm diameter and 2 holes for cables from 6 to 8 mm diameter, therefore it allows the derivation of the distribution cable. It supports up to 16 output drop cables, that may be round with diameters from 4.5 to 5.3 mm or flat with dimensions 3.0 and 2.0 mm.

It accommodates 11 loose tubes of 1,5 m in length and 1.9 mm in diameter.

Application:

It has corrosion resistance, aging, and UV protection, in addition to adequate protection against dust and strong water jets.

It can be mounted on the facades of buildings, walls, or poles, or even in wire rope (accessory for this last installation type is sold separately).
