Stranded Loose Tube Light Armored Cable – GYFTA

GYFTA

Central Strength Member is FRP

GYFTA
GYFTA

Cable Structure:

The tubes are filled with a water-resistant filling compound. A Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP) locates in the center of the core as a non-metallic strength member. Tubes and fillers are stranded around the strength member into a compact and circular cable core. After an Aluminum Polyethylene Laminate (APL) moisture barrier is applied around the cable core, the cable is completed with a PE sheath.

Note:

Other fiber types are available upon request.

Features:

  1. Crush resistance and flexibility
  2. Good mechanical and temperature performance
  3. PE sheath protects the cable from ultraviolet radiation
  4. High strength loose tube that is hydrolysis resistant
  5. Special tube filling compounds ensure a critical protection of fiber
  6. A specially designed compact structure is good at preventing loose tubes from shrinking
  7. The following measures are taken to ensure the cable is watertight:

Single Fiber Reinforced Plastic as the central strength member

Loose tube filling compound

100% cable core filling

APL moisture barrier
